As per Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University act 2004 our institute having student council and various activity societies .The student's council comprised of president, vice-president, secretary and vice-secretary along with all class representative and activity societies constituted with nominated students.

Objectives

To promote and reinforced the democratic values and principles among the students and to educate them about their duties and rights in democracy.
To emerge with value oriented leadership qualities and to inculcate a sprit of discipline and also to faster the spirit of brotherhood.
To promote respect for human rights and dignity for the individual and to eliminate ragging.
To encourage participation in literary ,cultural ,artistic, innovative and sports activities.
To extend social service thorough mutual cooperation with a view to shaping a generation dedicated towards social, economic and political issue of the society.
To promote intellectual, social and cultural activities in the institute.

Student Council

Student council had constituted at the month of September 2014 in our institution by the election process as per Chhattisgarh swami Vivekananda technical university Bhilai's rules. Following students were elected in students council.

Vice-President      -   Miss Swati (ET & T -5th Semester)
Secretary               -   Miss Laxmi Verma    ( MOM-5th Semester)
Joint Secretary      -   Miss Aakanksha Dewangan (ET & T -5th Semester)

According to the ordinance no.28 of CSVTU Bhilai following committees are formed with the aim to develop the various qualities among the students and for the smooth conduction of various activities in the Institute.
